How to get to our Hotel in Santa Teresa
By Air:
Close to the international airport of San José is the airbase for national flights which take you in 40 min to Tambor.
At the Tambor airport take a taxi for the 40 min ride to Santa Teresa.
You can make all bookings online with
Sansa or Nature Air.
By Car:
From San Jose you drive 1.5 h downhill to the port town of Puntarenas.
In Puntarenas take the ferry to Paquera which takes you on a scenic 1.5 h boat trip across the Gulf of Nicoya.
From Paquera it takes 1 h to drive the 46 km past Tambor and Cobano to Santa Teresa.
By Bus
The direct bus from San José to Santa Teresa departs in San José from the Atlántico Norte
Terminal at 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m, and at the same time in Santa Teresa: at 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The ride takes around 6 hours and costs $15. From the bus stop in Santa Teresa it's only a 50 m walk to our hotel.
By Minibus:
From the San José Airport or many other destinations in Costa Rica we can arrange a transfer by minibus
to or our hotel.
